The reports themselves were quite depressing, as the only news these days seemed to be about more people who had died. Another few gods had died recently on the front line, and from the sounds of it, it wasn't going to get any better.
The other demons were strong enough, but the Undying God was presenting the most trouble, as no one was able to successfully kill him or trap him. His comrades helped him escape each time, making him almost impossible to kill.
The demons had grown exceptionally violent after the discovery of the World Tree. He wondered how the Sky God was planning to steal it from them.
The war grew bigger with time, the demons now showing up deeper in human territory. Places like the Sky Split Realm and the Spirit Soul Realm, which had seen very few battles, were now growing with activity as demons were finding new ways to sneak in.
