The old man's tribulation lightning was in fact getting stronger by a realm each time. On the 6th one, they were now at Immortal Spirit 5th realm of strength. The old man could still handle it quite easily, so there was nothing for them to worry about.
Bladedance turned toward Alex, scanning his body with her Divine sense. "Do you want to break through right now?" she asked. "After my tribulation is over, the Qi in the area will be thick enough for you to break through."
Alex considered it for a second but shook his head anyway. "No, but thank you for the opportunity, master."
Bladedance raised an eyebrow. "Such an opportunity doesn't come so easily, you know?"
"I know," Alex said. "But I can't do it just yet. I haven't prepared myself and the next breakthrough is going to put me through an Inner Demon."
