Both of Drake's disciples assumed their Dragonoid forms, which were small, compact, and not large enough to destroy the bridge, as that would defeat the entire purpose of coming here.
The zombies quickly noticed them, roaring and groaning as they charged forward. Some resembled humans covered in wounds, blood, and mud, with unfocused white eyes and open mouths filled with sharp teeth.
Others, however, were more mutated. Their heads had transformed into long tentacles with eyes and jaws, and a few were even stranger, bearing larger, muscular arms and legs. Some were entirely covered in eyes, while others suddenly burst into flames, burning brightly.
Indeed, these were the stuff of nightmares, far from the zombies Drake knew from movies. These super-mutated monstrosities were born from a bioweapon that should never have existed.
