What ticket?
Jona didn't understand, but she felt inexplicably happy because she hadn't seen her brother so full of life and vigor for a long time. For years, a heavy sense of twilight seemed to shroud her brother, as if it could never be swept away.
The vigorous and spirited voice of cursing made Jona pause.
Her brother was originally a passionate, lively, and cheerful young man. If it weren't for the incident that left him spiritually crippled, unable to heal without a Soul Device, with his personality and determination, he'd be fighting on the front line now, wouldn't he?
Jona felt a slight sourness in her heart.
It's all my fault.
All because of me, if it hadn't been to save me, Mom and Dad wouldn't have died, and her brother wouldn't be crippled.
It's all my fault.
If I had died back then, how good that would have been.
Jona clenched her fists, the deep regret inside her made her sink into self-blame, unable to pull herself out.
"Who?"
