Gu Xia originally thought Zone 9 would keep her hanging for a few more days, testing her patience.
But unexpectedly, that night, the person came, although there was no direct conversation with her.
The person and the Commander sat beneath the glass house, watching her like she was a monkey in a zoo.
"Put the thing in."
The elder said, the Commander nodded, and pressed a switch.
A small square hole opened at the top of the glass house, and a dark object clattered to the ground.
Gu Xia was startled. She got up and looked, only to find it was a massive black python.
Why call it a giant python? Because it was thick, as thick as the waist of a six or seven-year-old child, entirely black, with a silvery sheen.
Upon closer inspection, you would find that it seemed to be covered in densely packed scales, quite disgusting.
As soon as the big thing was thrown in, it coiled itself up, lifted its head vigilantly, and glared at Gu Xia with fierce intent.
