A man dressed entirely in black moved silently through the terrain as he secretly followed Scarlette and her companions.
The mission had come directly from the Guildmaster of the Adventurers Guild.
Honestly, he had wanted to refuse.
He hated troublesome assignments.
Unfortunately, knowing the Guildmaster's personality, refusal had never truly been an option.
'I don't know anymore. I'll just follow them, right?'
He sighed heavily.
The entire mission already felt like a headache waiting to happen.
Every instinct he possessed told him that this assignment would become far more complicated than it initially seemed.
'Argh! I just remembered that if anything happens, I'm supposed to intervene. What the heck is the Guildmaster thinking?!'
