Stella soared up above, and soon, she seemed to not, as she had disappeared. I knew she was there, I could tell through the blood we shared, but I couldn't see her, not with my normal eyes, and I couldn't sense her either.
"How are you doing that?" It seemed quite useful, too useful.
"The blood rose's camouflage ability. When you hyper focus you use it for brief moments?" She was confused, just as much as I was.
"I do?" I recalled no such thing, the most I remembered were roots growing from me.
"Yes. You did it at the mount. More than once in fact. But as I said, it could be mistaken as an effect of your speed." Stella was observing me, more than originally thought.
"That's... interesting. How do I do it intentionally?" I wanted such a tool in my arsenal.
"Well... if you want to do it consciously, try to think of yourself as your environment. Then spread the rose's mana around your body." Her instructions were clear, and simple, I had my doubts.
