Somewhere a fat person was crying over the grave of his son and in an other place a girl was going mad for the loss of someone but Adam was oblivious to it.
When Adam got back to the cave he found the pup still there sitting where he had left him. Adam was shocked about this cause he thought that it was intelligent enough to listen to him so he gave it a try to test it out. He ordered him a few time to sit or follow him but to no avail. The pup only jumped up and down as if it was playing. Adam disregard it and thought of it as sheer luck.
Later that night Adam tried to make a bed he brought some branches and tried but with 0 skills he didn't do a good job. So he put these on hold and went to sleep.
In the morning at dawn he went to the river to freshen up and filled the buckets up. When he came back after eating the wolf meat which was somewhat rotten and feeding the wolf too he decided to chop a tree. He picked up his axe and went out. He picked a tree that was far away from the cave so that no one could locate it , well not now cause it would be dangerous. He started to chop it but it took him a long time to even chop half of it.
"This is not good " Adam was panting and tiered. He may be a super human but his body wasn't quite fit. " I need to work out daily. But what to do about this tree?" Adam gave it a thought and decided to try out his new skill.
He morphed his hand Into a claw. He striked the tree and it worked wonders. The claw went through the wood like a knife going through paper. He chopped the rest of the tree in no time.
The tree was ten metres tall and Adam cut it up into 3 parts. He tried picking up one of the parts and was somehow able to but just barely. The tree was 1.5 meters in diameter. Adam picked it up and went to the cave. Midway he thought quite a few time to chop it up and divide it but he resisted these urges.
When he got back he used his claw to cut the log into beams. Those beams were smooth and even as if it was done by a professional carpenter. Adam didn't know he got the skill to use it from the wolf but he had a hunch. He was also doubtful that wether he had gotten the ability to use magic from the little cunt but the ring illuminating was a indicator that he did.
He opened the book and TA DA
"Fk this shit, fk the new world, fk their language and fk magic." Adam lost it. He spent all the money and he couldn't remember that he didn't know the language. " I could have slept with a good women with that much money. " He was crying tears of blood.
This was the lowest he had been. He started to flip the pages But suddenly he saw a images on it. It showed a human body and in the abdominal part there was a ball like shape. From it lines came that went all the way to the feet , hands and head. Adam figured the ball like shape must be the dante the witch said and it store the magic in one's body.
The next image he found was of a hand clutched into a fist and there was a hue around it. Adam racked his brain and figured that it was the first step to pull magic towards his fist. He got the idea from all the movies he had seen and imagination of a person in the 21st century. Adam sat down and imagined as if his magic was flowing from his belly to his wrist.
Try after try after try but it was all of no luck. Adam didn't know if what he was doing was right or not but it was his only lead. After a while he was exhausted. He thought that he was on the right path cause he felt weak so it must be that his magic power was low.
Adam stoped his practice and went out he realised that it was night time so he got back in fed the horse some grass and ate bread while he fed the pup his parents. After that he played with the pup for a while.
Adam started to like the pup so he decided to name it snow. Then he got curious wether it was a male or a female so he checked a it a female so the name snow fitted it more nicely. Adam placed the mattress he had bought on the bed and it was the most comfortable sensation he had felt on a while. Adam slept as soon a he laid on his new bed. Snow also crawled up and laid besides him. The bed was nearly a king size bed which could fit 3 Adams comfortably. Snow laid besides him for a while but then he suddenly got up and laid on top of Adam. If Adam was awake he would find that a bit weird cause snow liked to sleep next to him not on him.
