Mengmeng lifted her gaze and looked at the man who was huffing and puffing as he carried her into the elevator. Her small hand immediately clasped tightly around his arm, and she planted a big kiss on his cheek with her red lips.
Then she deliberately smeared her saliva on his cheek.
"Behave," Gu Zhihan glanced at her.
"Hehe." Mengmeng giggled, snuggling in his embrace before asking, "Somebody said my belly is so big that I might be carrying triplets, what do you think?"
Gu Zhihan said seriously, "I only believe in science."
Meaning he only trusted medical tests and not the idle talk of strangers.
"Oh, you're no fun at all!" Mengmeng couldn't help but roll her eyes at him.
She had only asked casually, not expecting him to take it so seriously.
Gu Zhihan's lips curved into a slight smile.
After he settled her onto the hospital bed, Gu Zhihan began to prepare a fruit platter.
Mengmeng, with a small fork, ate piece by piece.
