From the Mouth of Sin, the creatures had burst outward in a living storm, shrieking, thrashing, and clawing in a frenzy that blotted out the sky. It was as if a nest of wasps had been torn apart, a cloud of nightmare wings and claws spewing upward, filling Eden with their endless hunger. The sound was unbearable, a single roar forged from ten thousand shrieks, each layered over the other until it became a hymn of madness.
When the factions responded in unison, their battle shrieks and the maddened howls that drove these creatures to seek the holy presence were drowned out by the explosion.
Magic circles flared across the battlefield, runes igniting in brilliant geometries of color. The Devils utilized their circles to create a black flame of shadowfire that shot towards the opening of the Sin's mouth.
