Kian lay down on the sofa and closed his eyes. Ten minutes later his phone rang. He picked it up and was surprised to see the number.
"Hello?" he said …
"Hello!" -came the masculine voice from the other end. It was Milan.
"Hi, how are you?" Kian inquired.
"I tried your father's number a couple of times, but he was not picking my calls." - said Kian
"I know I was there with him." Milan replied.
"How is he?"- said Kian
"Not very well. he doesn't want to talk to anyone."
"I can understand it must be difficult for him to endure all of this."
"So it is." Milan said, "He still can't believe that she has gone. He keeps asking himself, why his love was not enough for her? Why did she crave for the public acceptance of her work?"
"I know I was so fond of her it was such a shock when she passed away." Kian said,
"We came to know about it in the morning. Since then, he has locked himself up in his office. he is not meeting anyone, not attending work as well."
