The next day, Bell convinced Bianca to go back to school, and for Bianca to return as smoothly as possible without the dean having to talk to their parents, Bell brought Brylee with them. She thought that Brylee would be a great help. She doesn't want Bianca to be blacklisted from the school just because Bell intimidated their dean after all.
"You are leaving this early?" Daniella surprised them when they were about to leave the house. Daniella knows that Brylee usually goes to work before lunchtime.
Bell, Brylee, and Bianca turn to look at Daniella.
"Yes, Mom. I am planning to practice making desserts." Brylee managed to make an excuse though what she said is the truth. She is indeed practicing making dessert.
"That's good for you. Though I hope that you don't plan on staying at the restaurant until tomorrow," Daniella said casually but Brylee felt that there is a hidden meaning behind her words. Is her Uncle Lorcan right? Does her guilty conscience make her paranoid?
