Now there are couple of details that already been gone over in a separate chapter, but I figured I might as well quickly summarize it below before moving on to the nitty-gritty.

The aetherii are the third most common ancestry on the world of Valresta, but they're...weird.
While the bloodliners and humans are fleshy mortals trying to channel elemental might, aetherii are elemental beings trying to make themselves fleshy.
As such, there are six types of aetherii, one for each type of elemental aether, and they look wildly different from one another based on what kind of aether that make up most of their bodies.
