Zhong Li watched as the cab of Shu Xian drove away, leaving him standing alone on the street. He felt a pang of pain in his chest, a pain he had never felt before.
It was the pain of rejection, the pain of unrequited love. Shu Xian was the woman he had ever liked in his life, and she had just turned him down.
He started to walk, trying to distract himself from the pain. As he was walking, he was distracted when he saw a girl arguing with a boy in his peripheral vision.
