"I want you to turn me into a Werewolf."
Her voice rang like thunder inside Rex's mind, blanking his thoughts.
Rex stared at Princess Davina—and gradually, his eyes widened as he slowly realized what her request was. He thought he was hearing it wrong initially, but seeing the seriousness behind her eyes, Rex now realized that he hadn't heard wrong.
She actually asked him to turn her.
"What…? Are you insane? Do you even know what that means?"
"Yes, I know exactly what I'm asking. I can't abandon my life, but I can abandon a part of me."
"Davina, you're not thinking straight. If you become a Werewolf, you're going to be connected to me. It sounded good, but it's really not. You're going to feel everything that I experienced, and you're also going to have a much harder time being far away from me."
"Are you really trying to dissuade me?" Princess Davina—snorted in amusement. "If you set your mind on something, can you be dissuaded from doing it?"
