"Haha…" the old man smiled and chuckled weakly.
He raised both of his hands, gesturing for Rex to calm down—while his eyes darted left and right, still searching for a way out. It wasn't his place to meddle, and he didn't want to either, "I apologize, Sir. I am feeling a bit dizzy—from life energy insufficiency.
