Isabelle Martin didn't know when the video call ended, nor did she remember what she said; she simply put down her phone and fell into a deep sleep.
The next day, Isabelle indeed saw the family driver beside her car. Her expression froze momentarily; she didn't expect her mom to really go through with it.
But having a driver had its advantages. As soon as Isabelle got in the car, she caught up on sleep.
Getting out of the car, Isabelle felt refreshed. As she was taking out her phone in the office, she saw a message from Jeffrey Foster. She was just about to reply when a colleague asked, "Martin, what's got you so happy today?"
"Huh? Am I really that happy?" Isabelle asked in bewilderment.
The colleague nodded, "You haven't stopped smiling since you walked in. Are you saying there's nothing good happening?"
Isabelle smiled and brushed it off, "Really? Maybe it's because I slept well last night."
