Isabelle Martin heard Cloud Parker say someone was coming, and when she stiffly turned her head, she saw Jeffrey Foster pushing open the restaurant door and walking towards them.
The man was over six feet tall, wearing slacks and a trench coat, and had probably forgotten his glasses after work. This made his handsome face appear exceptionally cultured and ascetic, drawing the attention of quite a few people around.
He probably didn't expect to see Isabelle here. His eyebrows raised slightly, and Isabelle felt her heart sink. Then she heard Cloud Parker, speaking with a hint of schadenfreude, "Teacher, what a coincidence today, to run into Miss Martin here..."
As Cloud Parker spoke halfway, Isabelle abruptly reacted by covering Cloud Parker's mouth, her eyes filled with a pleading light.
Cloud Parker was caught off guard and startled, while Kerry Claud next to him looked confused.
