Joyce Ashley didn't expect Jeffrey Foster to agree. She suppressed her inner emotions and asked, "When do you have time?"
Jeffrey Foster glanced at his watch. He had no surgeries scheduled for the afternoon, "After two o'clock."
"Alright." Joyce's tone became much lighter. After speaking, her gaze fell on the fast-food box on Jeffrey's desk, her eyebrows slightly moved, "Why isn't Dr. Foster going to the cafeteria?"
Jeffrey's eyes landed on the takeout, feeling troubled, "I don't like it."
After saying so, he lowered his head and began reviewing cases. He didn't expect no movement next to him for a while. When he looked up, he found that the female doctor was still there; he frowned, "Anything else?"
"Huh? Nothing." Joyce wanted to invite Jeffrey to lunch but felt an unapproachable aura from him, so she held back in the end, said it was nothing, and left Jeffrey's ward.
In the afternoon, Jeffrey went to the ophthalmology department.
