Isabelle hadn't expected to encounter Zed Julius after work. The last time he invited her to see his performance, she and Jeffrey Foster had to leave unexpectedly. Not only did Zed not blame her, but he also invited her to come next time.
However, after Isabelle left her property management job to intern at the hospital, she became too busy to watch operas, so she inadvertently left him hanging. She didn't expect to run into him in the neighborhood today.
Feeling apologetic towards Zed for earlier, Isabelle was much more courteous with him. Zed smartly kept the conversation going with amusing stories from the theater, occasionally causing Isabelle to burst into laughter.
