"Hello!"
The man's indifferent, chilly voice, devoid of any warmth, spilled from his thin lips. His gaze was deep and dark, his brows cold.
"Ye Zhan, you finally turned on your phone. Did you receive the message I sent?"
Ji Anyun's urgent voice came through. "My dad said that dealing with those messages now would seem like we're trying to cover up, better to let other news..."
She recapped the message she had sent him.
Ye Zhan listened and replied indifferently, "I've had someone handle it."
"Ye Zhan, did you ask someone to delete those posts? Where are you now?"
Ji Anyun picked up on the coldness in his tone.
Her heart sank.
Her voice grew three degrees more urgent.
"Yes, I had them deleted."
Ye Zhan ignored Ji Anyun's last question.
The unease in Ji Anyun's heart grew stronger and deeper. "Ye Zhan, are you blaming me for being inconsistent?"
"No."
