Qin Mu turned his head towards the doorway.
He saw An Lin's slender figure standing at the kitchen door, still holding the handle.
The kitchen door was half-open, and she stood there, her gaze fixed on Qin Mu, seemingly displeased with what he had just said.
Qin Mu chuckled, advising Jinchen to be cautious, then strode over to An Lin, changing his previous tone of belittling her and praising Jinchen, and spoke with an enjoyable voice: "An Lin, why did you get up?"
"If I didn't get up, how could I have heard you say I have no talent?" An Lin said, giving him a sideways look to express her annoyance.
"You can't lie in front of kids."
Qin Mu laughed heartily, his tone innocent.
What seemed like an explanation was actually another jab at her.
An Lin pouted, "You can't lie in front of kids, you're really good at finding excuses. Seems like my lack of cooking skills will be announced to the whole world by you sooner or later."
