Wen Ran's words triggered a strong dissatisfaction in Gu Kai.
As his voice died away, the driver had already driven the car into the villa, slowing to a stop. Gu Kai pulled open the door and stepped out, ignoring Wen Ran's giggling over the phone.
"Ranran, I'm hanging up now."
"Hey, wait a minute."
"What else do you need?"
Gu Kai motioned for the driver who got out of the car to close the door as he strode towards the living room.
"You and Yiyi just started dating, right, brother? Aren't you going to give Yiyi a gift or something, like a bouquet of flowers?"
"Isn't that a bit cliché?"
