As the name suggests, it's a film shooting base constructed in A City specifically for shooting costume drama genres from the Three Dynasties of Tang, Song, and Ming.
Due to viewers' increasingly picky expectations for the tone and realism of costume drama settings in recent years, many crews have come here to set up scenes. In just two or three years, Shuixie Tangming Garden has consumed over two billion yuan collectively, yet all the ancient walls and palaces there are both authentically quaint and remarkably grand.
Shi Su had only visited this place during a shoot last year; she hadn't had the chance to visit with other film crews before.
It indeed requires travel by water to get there, and the garden is truly isolated by a lake, built at its heart, a bit reminiscent of Jing Jihan's Nanshan Villa design.
But to get to Jing Jihan's place, there's a tunnel to drive through, whereas entering Shuixie Tangming Garden mandates solely traveling by water.
