John was still in the massive void. He had no clue where he was at all, but from what he did in his past life, John considered this to be hell. The glowing board that was right in front of him didn't move or vanish. John has been waiting for half and hour now, and he is becoming impatient.
Counting to 1000 and back didn't seem to pass the time very well. It was like an endless loop and John had to suffer for what he did. The system looked broken and refused to work.

'Huh..? About time this thing worked." John thought about the countless possibilities of where he would land. He could be the strongest villain in this new world or the choice of being the strongest hero. John wanted to do many things, and as this seems like his final chance to redeem himself, he didn't want to mess it up. It was his last shot of wanting to be good for once, and this was the greatest opportunity he had. He considered himself lucky to be chosen by the gods to be given another life.

As soon as the system declared John's arrival, he lost consciousness. About roughly two hours later, John woke up again, but this time he seems to be locked inside of a box. He opened his eyes and saw light. John tried to stand up but only his head was able to move up. As he lifted his head up, his forehead bashed into what felt like metal. 'Ouch, f***. That hurt.' John couldn't move his arms, legs, and torso. Confused on where he was this time, he tried to recall the mysterious board. Nothing appeared in front of him. He was all alone.
John was nervous. He didn't know where he was trapped. From where John saw the light, he realized that there was a small glass window and allowed light to illuminate inside of the box by just a little. Peeking through the window, John saw crystals, tons of crystals. They came in all shapes and sizes and mostly, color. He could see red crystals, green crystals, purple crystals, and blue crystals which seemed to make the most light.
Wanting to get out of the box, John relentlessly tried to move his arms, it was no use. But while trying to do so, at least he got his fingers to move. Even with his fingers becoming loose, there was nothing they could be used for, other than touching other areas of the box. All John could do was wait and see what happens next.
He started counting again, since it was the only thing he could think of.
"One, two, three, four, five, six, seven, eight, nine, ten, eleven, twelve, thir-" John stopped counting as soon as he felt something move around him. The box was starting to move. He tried peeking out of the window again but nothing was there. Either the box moved in its own, or it was someone else, John didn't know at all.

"Wha- What do you think?! Of course I do! There's nothing to do in here. Let me go!" John shouted at the system telling it to let him go. The system didn't say anything as it still had the [ YES ] and [ NO ] options. He was angry at the system because it didn't bother listening to him.
"YES! I WANT TO GET OUT OF THIS PRISON."

The box opened slightly and John was finally able to move his body. He pushed the opening and climbed out. As soon as he left the box, John collapsed. He was tired for some reason and crawled over to a wall to rest. Look back at the box he was locked inside of, to his eyes it was a capsule. The capsule had strange markings on the sides of it. Even the name 'John Hill' was sketched on the lid. It was like the capsule was meant for John to be transported here. It was like he had an extra body that was kept here for safe keeping.
Whatever John thought of it as, he only wanted to question what this meant. Was he a hero that was trapped beneath where ever this place was? Or was he a villain that came here to heal his wounds? Thinking about these questions, the capsule moved again. This time, John could clearly see what the thing was that caused the disruption.
'Oh f***.' John cursed in his mind as soon as he saw it. A giant lizard roughly the size of a car was nudging the capsule. It got startled when John came out of the capsule, but then went back out of curiosity. The giant lizards spots John and stares at him. When he tries to back away, the lizard runs towards him. John knows what's going to happen if he were to stay still so he gets up and runs in a random direction. As John runs away from the monster, he sees where he's at. Inside of a large cave system, with no sense of direction, no food, no clothes, a sh***y system, and a massive monster chasing him.

"YES! I WANT TO GET OUT OF HERE! IT'S SUPER DANGEROUS!" John realized what he said was hypocritical. Since he was so confident in himself back on Earth, he would always perform dangerous stunts. Such as pulling off a heist from a plane, or climbing Mount Everest and BASE jumping down with a wing suit to snatch tourists belongings. All John has ever done was considered dangerous and looking back at it now, he should probably just be quiet.

John was uneased as he soon found out how close the lizard was from grabbing him. If he had a tail, the lizard would catch him with ease. John kept running, but then an arrow appeared at the end of the cave. The arrow pointed right, and as soon as John hit the end of the cave, he sharply turned right. To his surprise, the tunnel kept going. There seemed to be no end. He ran and ran as fast as he could but the lizard always seemed to get closer and closer by a few centimeters. It is true that John is fast, but he never ran for long periods of time. He would have to sit down and rest some time later.
At the end of the long tunnel, there were 4 different exits. He really needed to get out of this situation so he sprinted, much faster than he was before. An arrow pointed to one exit and he headed in that direction. John couldn't tell where this tunnel led to, but if the system showed him to go that way, it's best to follow the directions.
The lizard looked to be confused as when John sprinted away, it lost sight of him.
"The l-lizard was probably ne-near sighted." John said as he ran. When he looked back, the lizard walked away back in the direction of the capsule. He saw that he was now safe so he stopped running and sat down. His legs started to become shaky after running for almost 20 minutes. He couldn't feel his legs anymore, and all he could do was crawl.
"I t-think it's best for me to r-rest here." John trying to catch his breath. He laid back and wondered where in the cave he was. He tried calling the system once more.
"Open system." It worked. John was relieved that he finally found a way to open it. He then tried to close it. "Close system." As he expected, the system disappeared into thin air.
'Now let's see if I can open it without talking. System open.' The system opened once again. 'So. It looks like I can call it whenever I want, through speaking.' John carefully looks at what the system is.

'Open Stats' John said in his mind. The system brought up all of his stats and he could clearly see what power he holds.

'Hah. No wonder my legs wouldn't move anymore. I guess I'll stay here for ten more minutes. That should be plenty enough for me to walk.' John thought.
He sat against the wall, letting him recover for 10 mins, and while he was staring at the system he found the camera system. 'Open camera'. As he said it, a camera appeared on the system. It looked like a camera app on a phone. Looking at the other side of the tunnel he thought of an idea.
'Take a picture'. The system flashed a bright light in front of him and lit of the area for a second. Taking a look at the picture he took, something was off about it. The cave had black spots on the wall and ceiling. 'System, take another picture.' When John told the system to take another picture, he got close to the wall, staring directly at it. At camera flashed once more, and the picture became more clear. Those black spots were none other than spiders. The spider was as big as his hand and it was right in front of him. To his surprise, it didn't attack him. Realizing that the other black spots were spiders, he was in a spider nest.
