I again entered the room with the giant tree. Ruphuk called for Sureclaw who came and had a knowing smile on his face when he saw me.
"Heir Black how may i be of service."
"I want to get a magical inheritance test."
Sureclaw had a toothy grin on his face .
"Magical inheritance tests are rare and quite expensive, depending upon how long lost the ancestor was, the test is priced. The maximum is for 10000 for the all the lineages till the era before hogwarts and upto 50 years can be done with 1000G."
I was amazed, but still. This much money was a drop in the bucket and i could gain much more.
So i said,
"Take 10000 from the black family vault for all the lineages."
Both Ruphuk and Sureclaw looked towards me and then towards the Tonks who nodded. After all tge money was mine.
So they brought out the chalice and gave me a blade. I cut my hand and let the blood drip into the chalice. This time until the chalice was full. The stone though still shining was immersed in my blood. They took it and placed it near the wall with tree.
The whole tree lit up and started to lose the light. All the tree was back to normal except the two branches at the very start. Yes those were the lines for Merlin and Morgana LeFey.
Everyone in the room was looking at me and then looking at the tree. Both the goblins were gobsmacked. Never in their wildest dreams had they thought that someone could be a heir to those ancient houses who were thought to be dead. Sureclaw gained some calm and said.
"The managers for those houses have long passed, but the documents remain. It will take some time to get those documents. So please wait for a moment." Then he left.
Both of the Tonks were looking at me with a look that demanded an explanation. I will have to go through another round of questioning later.
Ruphuk suddenly burst into laughter,"Hahahha! I knew it . When you first came here i knew you were someone special. But this even blows me away. He said while laughing.
All of us were waiting. Sureclaw returned after fifteen minutes with two boxes and two rolled parchment.
" These are the wills for both Merlin and Morgana LeFay. They can only be opened by their heirs and thus have been kept safe within gringotts for centuries. Now we will do the duty, bestowed upon us by Merlin himself. But first you have to become an heir by wearing the rings."
He opened the two boxes both containing two rings with the finest carving. One had a tempest symbol and the other had a symbol of a tree .
I picked up the ring with the tree and put it on my ring finger. Suddenly i felt a soothing sensation spread through me calming me down. Probably, it had the same kind of effect as the ritual. Then i put on the ring with tempest symbol. Suddenly, he felt hot like his burning but the the warmth was gentle, like a calming embrace of a mother.
All of them looked at him with surprised and he just raised his head to see everyone in the room gaping at him.
Sureclaw, coughed lightly and said." The king has been notified as per instructions both of these wills will be read in the presence of king. Suddenly they were led to a whole new chamber . This one had the look of a grand palace hall. Their was a throne and seated on it was the goblin king who was as tall as humans and the face was much more humanly.
