"What is going on?, "I muttered to myself as I saw everyone floating in the air, I couldn't move my body but I was conscious, time was slowed down or was it truly? I never knew.
A voice echoed through my mind, an irritating buzz of vibrations. I knew Sloghk was transmitting something in my mind.
" I'm not strong enough to face this beast right now?, " I repeated what he said.
Another buzz of irritating vibration responded affirming my question,
"So What should I do?, " I said back.
A silence and then a strong vibration enamated throughout my head.
" Use the pact? huh....but I don't want to expose you out in this world?... I guess there is no choice. " I said.
A response of vibrations, Slogh was suggesting something else.
" you want me to use Raven Breathing with the pact?. " I said back to Sloghk.
Sloghk acknowledged and didn't say anything further.
" But that would put a heavy strain on my body?, " I replied.
A series of vibrations bombarded my skull, knowledges and explanations poured into my mind.
" I see, so by utilizing the pact, I can negate the Raven breathing side effect? " I said.
And one last vibration affirming my determination was sent by Sloghk and soon the dimension shift effect returned to normal. Instantly I shifted my breathing to Raven Breathing and every nerve in my face and body bulged out in rapid circulation of energy, increasing heartbeat rate and blood circulation and in return I gained herculean strength and lightning fast agility that rivaled the beast infront of me, sweats evaporated from my body as the temeperature skyrocket in the instant. Quickly, I deflected the Nightcrawler Lord attack back at it and jumped back. To the new upsurge of power and strength, the Nightcrawler Lord was caught off guard for a second and it took a defensive stance towards me as if it was sensing danger. To the mere fact that I stopped the Nightcrawler Lord's attack so easily struck the grandmasters in wonder and confusion. And Obviously, without leaving an interval, the beast once again lunged at me and I did the same, in a furious speed and power, I exchanged several blows with the Nightcrawler Lord creating a storm of impact which pushed back the nearby slayers by the force of the blows. After a few moments of exchanging blows, The Nightcrawler Lord retraced its limbs and jumped back and by that time, the grandmasters were already infront of me covering me. Grandmaster Arilyne, Grim Doctor and the others formed a barricade infront of me facing the Lord.
Seeing that the situation was safe, I backed down. " Are you alright? Kid! " asked Arilyne.
I fell down on one knee, it was barely a minute but the toll of Raven breathing was immense, I was panting like crazy my heart beat was irregular and every muscle in my body began to throb in pain. My face was sweating and glowing in red.
" I'm fine, just a little bit out of breath, " I said with still my breath out of rythmn.
The Nightcrawler Lord Stood there in a defensive stance, being cautious of its opponents and not approaching hasitly this time. It was as if it was learning and adjusting the battle according to its opponents which was a frightening ability to be showcased by varaes.
" Who is this kid?, " asked Lady Tashrani.
" How can a student hold up to a anomaly division varae which has several grandmasters struggling?, " added the Royal Inquisitor.
" It was not magic, " replied Lady Tashrani.
" Hmmm, If there was such a technique to enhance one's physical strength without the help of magic, why hasn't it be known so far? Could he be related to that weird tribe... " said the Royal Inquisitor.
" Perhaps but he doesn't look like one, they are all dark" said Lady Tashrani.
" It's no coincidence that Arilyne favors him out of all the talented slayers students in the academy, " said the Royal Inquisitor.
" Don't let your guard down yet, it is being cautious of us now, " said Lady Tashrani.
Then, with a backward step the Nightcrawler screeched loudly in the air disrupting our senses and ears, it was so powerful that no one was unable to move for a few seconds and in that few moment, it seized the opportunity and lunged backward and escaped into the forest. The others tried to follow them but the effects of that screeched temporarily disabled even the grandmasters. Knight Rhendy and Grandmaster Arilyne went after it immediately as they recovered from the effect.
" Don't let it escape! Track it down! " shouted Lady Tashrani and ran after them.
" This is really bad!, if it finds towns and village, no one will be able to protect them, We must relay this message to the guild as soon as possible, " said Grandmaster Leeben Hestra.
" I'll go, " replied Cyril.
Grandmaster Hensord nodded and Cyril took off immediately.
" Us grandmaster will go after them, rest of you stay behind and await our return, that screech might attract nearby varaes, Stay on alert, " said Grandmaster Jenny.
" I will stay behind, " added the Royal Inquisitor.
The grandmasters nodded and left for the pursuit.
" It's for the worst, a varae as strong as that being on lose and possessing human like intelligence, " commented Feibei.
" I have never fought a varae as frightening as it, " said Leon.
" By the way kid, what the hell was that power?, " added Leon.
" Yeah!, I'm curious too, was that magic?, " said Feibei.
" You didn't hear? he said he can't use magic, " replied Knight Rhendy.
" It was not magic, " I answered.
" Really? then what was that technique? you almost fought that beast toe to toe, " said Leon.
" It was a technique I developed since I couldn't use magic to compensate for it, a breathing technique to improve strength and speed temporarily. " I said.
" I see, a breathing technique, not sure how it gives strength but that was quite awesome, " said Leon.
" You are an interesting kid, " added Feibei and smiled.
The Royal Inquisitor approached me and looked at me directly into my eyes and said, " Tell me about it, "
She was curious, that was for sure but I don't know why she was interested in knowing the details, it's not like anyone can suddenly steal my technique after hearing it once, it's a complicated thing, a thing of my own. I'm not even sure if anyone can even learn it or utilize strength from my breathing technique.
