It is not going well.
Damon arrived at the plaza early, waiting for Kaiden to appear at his usual spot. He thought it would be easy.
It is not.
It has been two hours, and yet not a shadow of the omega has been seen.
Damon isn't exactly known for his patience, but he still sits for another thirty minutes, quietly waiting. He ignores the throngs of people coming and going.
When thirty minutes pass, and the omega is still nowhere to be found, he calls Adam.
"Where is Kaiden?" he asks without a greeting.
"How am I supposed to know?"
"You have his number." Before Adam can make up an excuse, Damon adds, "You admitted it yourself yesterday."
Adam silently curses his mouth for being too loose and his conscience for being too honest. He hangs up with a promise to call back with an update.
Not too long after, Adam calls back to report, "Kaiden was last seen at the Luna building. If he hasn't returned, he might still be there."
"What is he doing there?"
