Around 2019 I had an idea for a novel about a guy with a scythe hunting monsters inspired by the Witcher and Supernatural, I was a tween with barely any literature comprehension, but a love for stories.
Cut to early 2021, with the help of a crappy little laptop and my cousin, I released the first chapter of Karitori: Kuragari, and the final chapter around 2022.
I WILL ABSOLUTELY ADMIT, this novel sucks. The writing is abhorrent, Sam's heel turn has no substance, and is all and all rushed for 74 chapters.
Now in 2025, as a university student with that love of stories and literature still strong, I look back at Kuragari with... horror in my eyes. This is not the story I wanted. I've had a lot of time reflect, change, and review.
I don't know how many of you will read this, but I genuinely want to do better. Which is why I'm partly here to announce, a reboot of the Karitori Series is planned. When it will be fully written? I dunno. For those interested, head to Honeyfeed and search for "Karitori: Kyodai."
