Chapter 15
RAE KELLER
"So, we are going on an adventure?"
"Yes, baby."
"Are we going to climb mountains and save kingdoms?"
"Uhh... Well, if you look at it in a certain way, yes I think so, Enola."
"Oh oh my God, Rae! This is so great!" Enola jumped up and down, giddy with happiness as we both walked down the cobbled street that led to my new work place.
I had woken her up earlier that morning, not knowing how to tell her that she was going to start living in an iced cream shop but I ended up.going with the fact that we were going for a faiy tale adventure. That had gotten her so happy and excited and I had silently muled over the fact that I had created so many lies that I really hoped I could keep up with.
Enola had hopped from the bed and started to gather all her clothes and toys into the brown box I had purchased the day before. I watched with pride in my heart as she neatly folded her things... Well, as neatly as a six year old could I guess.
