After having a rather late 'breakfast', the two of them got off the boat.
Looking at the beautifully decorated boat, everything from last night felt like a dream.
But...
As she lowered her head to look at the dazzling ring on her finger, the dream seemed all too real.
"Why are you chuckling?" Duan Xingzhi squeezed her finger.
Bai Zhi pursed her lips tightly, not wanting to pay him any attention.
"I asked you, what's so funny? Why aren't you talking?"
Bai Zhi hummed twice and then pulled her hand out from his, holding it up in front of him, "I'm laughing because, technically, I'm a rich woman now."
Duan Xingzhi held her hand again, "If you don't like it, we can switch it for another. You can leave this one at home too."
Bai Zhi shot him a sideways glance, "I do like it, but honestly, I'm afraid to wear it out. Even if I do, people might think it's a replica I bought somewhere."
