Actually, Bai Xiaobai is easy to put to sleep; just tell him a story and he'll fall asleep.
Bai Zhi initially wanted to lie down just like that, but thinking of what Duan Xingzhi had said earlier, she helped the child tuck in and got out of bed.
She's really afraid that if Bai Xiaobai wakes up and finds she's not there, he'll cry, so she left the door slightly ajar and went to Duan Xingzhi's room.
There was only the bedside floor lamp lit in Duan Xingzhi's room. He was leaning against the headboard reading a book, and when he saw her come in, he put the book down.
"Asleep?"
"Yeah, asleep."
Duan Xingzhi smiled, got up and pulled her closer, "I can already imagine how troublesome it will be when we have children in the future."
Bai Zhi's face turned stern, and she lightly pushed him away, "Are you disliking Xiao Bai?"
"No way, I didn't mean that."
"Then what do you mean? Are you not finding him troublesome right now?"
