Duan Xingzhi didn't say much, dropping her off at the company before driving away.
Once Bai Zhi got to work, she got busy and completely forgot about ordering takeout.
"Bai Zhi, someone's looking for you."
Bai Zhi looked up as a coworker called her.
She walked out and saw Duan Xingzhi at the entrance.
"Why are you here?"
Many in the surrounding offices were already peeking out, their eyes filled with excitement and curiosity.
Duan Xingzhi raised what was in his hand, "I brought you breakfast. Takeout isn't that great. Try this."
Bai Zhi was at a loss for words and finally just said, "Thank you."
Duan Xingzhi reached out and ruffled her hair, "Silly, why say those two words to me?"
