Bai Zhi hurriedly got into the car and let out a long sigh of relief.
Duan Xingzhi noticed something was off and didn't rush to start the car. Instead, he asked, "What's wrong?"
"Nothing," Bai Zhi didn't really want to talk about it.
"Then why do you look so pale?" He reached out, naturally holding her fingers, "Why are your hands so cold? Are you chilly?"
Bai Zhi's thoughts hadn't completely returned, so she didn't pay attention to him holding her hand. She shook her head, "A bit."
Duan Xingzhi simply used both hands, enclosing her hands in his palms, gently rubbing them.
"Is it better now?"
Bai Zhi finally felt something was off, startled by their hands together, she quickly pulled her hands back, looking down awkwardly, "Yes, much better."
Duan Xingzhi sighed softly but didn't say anything more, started the car while turning on the air conditioning.
