Emotional counseling is a simple yet complex job because almost all clients show the attitude that their feelings are unique, their problems are unsolvable, and no one understands their pain.
But in the eyes of a psychologist, so-called emotional problems are actually quite similar.
At the root, it's just like a thin piece of paper that can easily be pierced. The client stands on this side, and the person they want stands on the other side. Though the paper is thin, it blocks their view, and there is complete unknown on the other side. Once pierced, many new problems will arise.
And many of these problems are unsolvable, or appear unsolvable in the eyes of the client.
No psychologist will ever directly tell their patient whether to break up or not; they will only analyze the possible problems you might face once you pierce through the paper. The choice still needs to be made by the individual.
