Tessa Caldwell called Renee Langdon to express her thanks.
Renee felt a bit embarrassed and didn't dare accept her kindness. She said she really hadn't known Tessa was in danger at the time; she'd thought she'd misheard. Later, when she was chatting with Quinn Leroy, Quinn was the one who'd made the call, and that was how she found out Tessa had been kidnapped.
She felt pretty guilty for not informing Faye right away. As for treating her to a meal to thank her or anything, she felt even less worthy of that.
"Then are we friends or not? If we're friends, come over to my place for a simple home-cooked meal."
Since Tessa put it that way, Renee naturally couldn't keep turning her down.
She'd originally said she didn't have any scenes at night and would come over after they wrapped, but Tessa insisted on coming to visit the set and wanted to watch her act.
