Seeing her so troubled, Faye didn't insist any further, and gently touched her face, "Do you need me to treat your colleagues to a meal?"
He didn't care what others said about her, maybe because he hadn't heard it directly. Not hearing it made him indifferent, thinking as long as he knew how wonderful she was, that was enough.
And if others could stay away from her, that would be the best.
If Tessa Caldwell knew what Faye was thinking, she'd probably be spitting blood.
Tessa hummed, "No need, they've already said that about me, why treat them to a meal? If a meal could solve that, are such people worth befriending?"
"Then call me if anything comes up." Faye kissed her forehead.
