Upon hearing Faye call her name, Tessa Caldwell turned her head, her eyes red but her lips curving into a smile, then burst into laughter: "Hahaha, I still haven't tested it, but... my period is here! Haha~~"
Faye raised an eyebrow and responded calmly with a simple "Oh," then turned to walk out.
Tessa Caldwell laughed triumphantly and walked up to him: "Your scheming didn't succeed, hmph!"
After all, his plan was for her to get pregnant, logically he should be disappointed that she wasn't, yet he appeared indifferent. It must be an act; she had to give him a couple of jabs to make him show a disappointed look.
Faye hooked her neck with one arm, pulling her into his embrace: "Who told you I really wanted you to be pregnant..." He took advantage of her unguarded moment to kiss her sensitive ear: "Haven't had enough yet, do you not know?"
Tessa Caldwell was stunned: "How can you be like this, if you don't want me pregnant, then why are you scheming against me."
