Nora Harrow felt like her soul had left her body, standing in a daze for a long time before her brainwaves finally returned to her mind.
She suddenly got off the bed, her legs sore and weak, barely managing to stand. She then felt a warm flow from her abdomen, trailing awkwardly between her legs, causing her face to flush.
Suppressing the urge to scream like crazy, she rushed to the bathroom for a quick wash, then scrambled to find her clothes amidst the mess and put them on.
On the bed, Xavier Warren was semi-awake, surprisingly asking her, "Leaving already? Not staying a bit longer?"
Originally planning to leave quietly, pretending nothing had happened, Nora Harrow was instantly enraged, glaring at him hatefully, "You beast."
Xavier Warren sat up, yawning and squinting at her, looking drowsy: "Who's the beast here? Don't forget, I'm the victim."
"What do you mean??" Nora Harrow wondered if she was hearing things.
