Tessa Caldwell tried hard to calm the tremors surging inside her. She turned her head mechanically and forced a somewhat awkward smile at Noelle. "Sure."
The woman just now was Cian Channing, also her high school classmate. What was today, a high school reunion day? And how come Faye was with her?
Did Faye know her? What kind of relationship did they have? Were they dining together?
Noelle was saying something by her ear, but Tessa didn't pay attention. She absent-mindedly glanced outside again and noticed that the two people downstairs were already gone.
