After she finished doing all that.
It was already afternoon in the north, the sky outside was filled with a fiery sunset.
Qiao Nian picked up her phone, walked to the window, took a photo, and sent it to the contact pinned on her WhatsApp.
Soon, a video call came from the WhatsApp contact named Y.
Qiao Nian smiled, her fair face relaxed as she swiped her finger to answer.
The dark screen soon connected, revealing Ye Wangchuan's excessively handsome face on the screen, with the background showing a room.
Qiao Nian coughed once and started the conversation: "Why didn't you go out?"
Ye Wangchuan pulled out a chair and sat down: "Waiting for you to come home."
Qiao Nian's ears warmed slightly, not looking at him, she said softly: "I'm not going back so soon, if things go smoothly, maybe the day after tomorrow. If not... it'll take more time."
Ye Wangchuan smiled slightly: "No worries, I'll wait for you."
Qiao Nian didn't know what to say.
