Though hard to imagine, the Ghoul Clans indeed held to their agreement.
The departure of Lu Li and the Ghoul Warriors from the Ghoul's Lair, after concluding the ugly battle over its ownership, was unimpeded, except when passing another blood pool where the Silent One roared, surging blood-red waves towards them.
Then, the Blood Spirit Shaman saw them off, manipulating the blood back into the pool.
Passing the outpost lair sprawling towards the south, the Blood Spirit stopped at the edge laid with the rotting plague.
"If you encounter any doubts, you're welcome here."
"I will."
Lu Li left with the Ghoul Warriors, and even until they were almost disappearing at the end of the street, the Blood Spirit, leaning on a staff, remained standing at the edge of the outpost.
The presence of the outpost made the southern anomalies eerily silent, and the road back was even quieter than Lu Li's arrival.
The anomalies were not afraid of Ghouls, but they didn't want to provoke them either.
