This is a book of autobiographical nature. At least the first half is solely about the experiences of a Hunter named Cory Lavalle.
Lu Li was interested in the "Cursed Title" found in the latter part of the story. Before falling in the Weird Lair, Cory Lavalle released the Cursed Title.
It was a mysterious and incredible power, akin to Divine Inspiration, evoking an irresistible urge of fervent prayer. But the source of this fervor wasn't any divinity, but the earth, the sky, and the world itself.
Using what seemed like the world's bestowed power, Cory Lavalle nearly destroyed the Weird Lair, escaping before the lair's leader awoke from slumber.
