The atmosphere seemed a bit awkward, at least Marcus felt that way.
"Who is the other party?"
Lu Li's voice came through the phone, only calm.
"Uh... I don't know. The buyer didn't tell me."
"Gender."
"Uh... I don't know either. The buyer didn't tell me."
"What means of contact did you use?"
"Uh... it was a phone call, the voice was quite neutral, I couldn't tell."
"Is there any other information about the buyer besides these?"
"Uh... Nothing else."
Marcus was clueless.
The call fell into a long silence.
When Marcus was anxious and uneasy, Lu Li's voice finally sounded in the receiver.
"I want all the money."
"I worked so hard..." Marcus instinctively resisted, then realized that selling out friends wasn't very honorable, and softened: "Okay, this time it's all yours. But if there's another buyer, I request a cut."
"If you notify me before selling my personal information, I might consider it."
