I walked around the castle grounds as the sun was rising with my most trusted maid Tracy. We were both dead silent until we reached the lake to finish watching the sun rise.
"Hey Tracy...?"
"Yes your highness?"
"I was wondering if you knew when the two girls that my parents picked out are coming to the castle?"
"....."
She was dead silent while staring out onto the water. By the looks of it, she was trying not cry in front of me, so I gave her a hug. She jumped when my hands wrapped around her to hug her.
"Tracy please tell me what's wrong. You know you're too beautiful to be crying."
"Sorry your highness..."
I sighed which caught her off guard. For some reason I felt a desire to keep her in my arms, but I had to let go since I was going to be finding my future queen in a couple of months.
"Hey Tracy how old are you?"
"...."
"I'm seventeen"
My eyes widened when I learned she was one year younger than me, and I wondered how she got a high position at her age.
"So you like the view?"
she stared out back at the water while the sun and the water met.
"Yea, it's beautiful"
We sat there for 30 more minutes then headed our separate ways into the castle for some breakfast. My parents walked into the dinning hall after I had arrived.
"Hello son, your mother and I have some people we would like you to meet"
I look over my shoulder to find Tracy in a light ice icicle blue dress which caught me off guard and made me blush. The other girl beside Tracy had black hair with a pearl white dress with lace like a wedding dress. As both girls walked in I couldn't keep my eyes off of Tracy with her brown hair and green eyes with that dress on her until my father continued:
"You girls go ahead and introduce yourselves"
Tracy took a deep breath then tried to speak but the other girl interrupted:
"My name is Lisa Reynolds, and I'm from the kingdom Ehetus."
"And my name is Tracy HeartMoon. i'm from the Oshewiterra Kingdom"
My eyes widen.
