Okay, so in case y'all missed what happened with the mutant fish last time, here's the skinny.
According to Millie, as I was playing for the crowd, she and Moxxie left the beach to kill targets inside the buildings along the waterfront in a blood-drenched massacre. They later hid on a table of kegs and prepared to take out a target with a crossbow. A drunk party goer flipped the table, sending them flying into the crowd. The drunks mistook Moxxie for a possum and stuffed him into one of the kegs, where he involuntarily swallowed large portions of the keg. I had to snicker when I heard that part, even though Moxxie (suffering a hangover the next day) didn't care for that part.
Millie found the keg Moxxie was stuffed in, and tipped it over. A drunk Moxxie spilling out with what little was left of the beer. Moxxie drunkenly asked Millie where she got 'four heads', wanting to kiss 'em. This was the point the now mutated fish (turns out the hipflask spilt on it and the demon alcohol made it the monstrosity you just saw) rose from the ocean. I'm sure you all remembered everything that happened afterwards.
What I didn't know, though, was that Millie found Moxxie clinging to on to the uvula to avoid being swallowed. As she reached for his hand, he merely responded with a confused high-five. She managed to grab him by the wrist and cut him free from its tongue. Moxxie got tossed out, and Blitzo caught him back on the beach.
Millie, still in the monster fish's mouth, got it to spit her out by punching its wounded tongue, before clambering to its face. According to Blitz, Moxxie drunkenly declared his love for Millie, as Blitz mockingly suggested she pegs Moxxie. Anyway, Millie used the monster's movement to springboard herself into the air, and dove back into the monster's mouth and into its throat, thus cutting it open from the inside. Killing it in the process. Millie swam back to shore and asked Blitzo if Moxxie was okay. Blitzo dropped him after saying he was fine, just very…"drinky".
This was when my cohorts were approached by Verosika and her crew. Verosika tried to reprimand us on our lack of subtlety, but then Millie tossed back the hipflask, suggesting how bad it would look if they revealed it was a certain popstar who was behind the monster fish in the first place. Verosika tried pointing out we would get in trouble not being in disguise, when Moxxie drunkenly hissed he was mistaken for a possum. Blitzo said he wouldn't mention anything about her involvement with the monster fish if they gave us back our the parking space, to which Verosika begrudgingly agreed to it.
Okay, now that we're caught up, we can continue on the plot. Onwards to the next chapter!
