1. Because some of the girls honestly served no purpose other than being Yin banks for him. I might be a fan of harem, but I don't want my MC to have useless women by his side, all of them will have their own purpose.
2. Yuji will eventually go to a few other worlds so I don't want his harem to be that big when the time to leave JTBATG comes. Im a fan of harmed but not really a fan of very large ones for example in World Defying Dan God.
The fuck does he do with all those women??!! I'm sure he barely gives most any attention!

Presented in front of him, hovering just a few feet away from where the Sage God once stood was the same black book, but it had closed.
In the instant that Yuji took a step closer to it, it burst into white particles making him freeze on the spot in shock as they converged into a fist-sized ball that he only saw for a moment before it shot into Yuji's face and phased into him as it entered his Knowledge Sea.
Along with the book itself came tons of information on suitable cultivation techniques for him that could easily be considered treasures by high-ranking star kings or be sold at exorbitant prices in auctions.
Among those came techniques that were only suitable for owners of the Sage Gods physique which would be nothing but duds in anyone else hands.
Within a few moments of standing frozen in his spot as his mind skimmed through the techniques he effortlessly understood them, all that remained was for him to reach an adequate level of strength to use them.
Moreover, he learned some of the basics of cultivation, including; details on deep veins, how to absorb profound energy, and other trivial stuff.
He had 60 deep veins which were 8 more than a normal cultivator who only had 52. The more deep veins that were open in a cultivator the faster one was able to absorb profound energy so these extra 8 deep veins of his would provide him with a massive edge in speed over normal cultivators.
He already had all the other 52 deep veins opened for him during the inheritance process so all that he needed to open now we're the remaining 7.
Individually, they represent the 8 elements of fire, water, Earth, Wind, Lightning, Darkness, Light and Dimension that he gained as a result of his inheritance.
Out of the deep veins of the eight elements only fire had opened because the fire crystal which had been on his neck was absorbed into him during the inheritance process.
This granted him the ability to increase his power by several times for a few moments but if he was weak then it will cause him damage to do so.
To open more of his deep veins Yuji would either have to find the few missing crystals or get strong enough for the seals on the crystals within the book to open for him and just like with the fire crystal, once he gets them he will gain an ability related to the element he received.
Inside the book, there was still a single body tempering method, the True God body technique. It has 10 levels which after each level the user's body will be upgraded by leaps and bounds but he would have to go through hellish training.

After collecting himself and taking in everything he had received he decided to leave.
He thought of the barrier collapsing and it did just that.
In the instant the barrier dropped, the doors to the Pagoda flung open with a violent bang as a white blurry figure rushed in through them while shouting. "YUUJII!!"
Gu Xuan rushed in and his face seemed confused as to what kind of expression it should show seeing Yuji sitting cross-legged looking at him with a cheeky smile.
However, that wasn't important, so putting his confusion aside, Gu Xuan checked Yuji's body from top to bottom, scanning for any signs of injury, but to his surprise, rather than injury his body seemed to have even gotten stronger and he had even jumped straight to the Spirit Formation realm.
He let out a breath he didn't even realise he was holding in as he questioned. "Brat, how did you get so strong so fast?"
Yuji went on to explain everything that happened inside from the Sage Gods appearance to him becoming his successor.
He even showed Gu Xuan his light and flame powers, most surprising of all being his flame powers, because as a result of his Three Thousand Star Fire Flame merging with his Profound Flame, the former being the more dominant, it became stronger and changed to magenta colour from regular purple.
To explain how he got it, Yuji simply said the flame was a gift from the Sage God and Gu Xuan nearly puked blood seeing it because he could tell that it was a very high ranked heavenly flame, at least top 10.
The reason for this was because heavenly flames were incredibly rare one of a kind treasures, for Yuji to simply receive one so high-ranking as a gift along with a Gods bloodline is unbelievable.
[ A/N: Because it merged with the sage flame the Three thousand star flame rank increased, it's around mid 7th rank now, and it gained an ability from the profound flame that will be revealed next chapter. ]
