"Elder Vyrath," Alfraed called out with determination. "Test the spell on me."
Vyrath's molten gold eyes narrowed, a low rumble emanating from his chest. "Yo, little human," the dragon rumbled, his voice carrying a mix of skepticism and something akin to respect. "You sure about this? This ain't no joke. Could mess you up if I get it wrong."
His vassals, Cedric and Elias, exchanged uneasy glances. Lyra's grip on the children tightened, her eyes wide with concern. Even Snow and Blaze chirped softly, their tiny forms trembling on Alfraed's shoulders.
"My lord," Cedric began, his voice tight with worry, "this is too risky. We don't know what this spell could do to you."
Elias stepped forward, his expression grave. "There must be another way. We can't afford to lose you."
Alfraed held up a hand, silencing his companions. "I appreciate your concern, but this is the only way. If we're going to make this work, we need to know the limits. I trust Elder Vyrath to be careful."
