The elderly man's cry took the group by surprise. Everything almost happened in the blink of an eye, from Grey questioning the young man a second ago, to this elderly man suddenly crashing down from the sky and screaming in horror.
This elderly man is well-known among the mercenaries. Other than being one of the oldest members, he was also regarded as the second in command behind the leader; a testament of his strength.
Seeing him scream in horror terrified the weaker members.
The lady did not expect Grey to make a move, so she was a little slow to react. The elderly man's cry for help jolted her back to reality and she snapped, "My members are for me to deal with alone. Don't think because I'm showing you respect you can ask wantonly before me."
