Gu Qingxin called out as she entered, "Aunt Zhou, I'm hungry. Is there any leftover food from lunch?"
Yelling while running inside, she didn't expect Beiming Han to be there, watching her from the living room.

"Miss, hungry? Did you skip lunch?"
"I ate a little. Is there any leftover food? I'd like to eat some more." Gu Qingxin's voice became much softer.
"I'll have the kitchen make something new. Miss, do you have any preferences?"
"No need to trouble yourself, bread is fine."
Gu Qingxin indeed hadn't eaten lunch, as she was too engrossed in her work. The factory staff had brought her a meal, but by the time she remembered to eat, it was already cold. So she didn't eat it.
